For more than a year negotiations with the branch of UMG " Aktobe "INTERGAS Central Asia" JSC on improving the performance of GT700-5 were held. The proposal of Advice Turbine Engineering to optimize the operation of the GT700-5 axial compressor by means of reducing of the clearances above the edge of compressor working blades using a special coating on compressor casing (Advice own elaboration) has attracted the interest of Aktobe specialists. After a number of approvals the project is currently in the stage of Contract signing and start-up.
